Dr Yant and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and thorough as well as friendly and respectful to my individual dental needs. Dental cleaning, special stain removal, fluoride treatment, and exam. I had barely sat down in the waiting room to read the Time Magazine tribute to David Bowie when they called my name. Punky, the hygienist, is always wonderful (sweet, thorough, and gentle), and it was very nice to meet Dr. Elaine Allen, who did the examination. They smile a lot there, which makes me smile, too.

Everyone at Dental Health Group, Oakland, MD is ready to assist patients and make visits as enjoyable as possible. One can tell every employee enjoys doing their appointed duties and is knowledgeable of the other dentists, receptionists, hygienists duties so that no matter whom one is seen by the best possible outcome can be expected. Appointments are on-time. Routine service and all “discoveries” are handled quickly with expertise and always with a smile . All treatment options are discussed with the patient, questions answered, before treatment s are begun. A pleasant office environment, with the latest equipment available on site. Drs Yant, Longest, Allen and staff offer the best dental service I’ve found anywhere, and coming from the Washington DC area, that is saying something. My wife and I have had crowns installed here, two implants, and routine dental cleanings for about seven years now. They are just outstanding. They also offer reasonable prices and stand behind their work. I don’t think anybody goes to the dentist for fun, but these folks make the experience as pleasant and effective as humanly possible. I’m glad they are part of our community.

I’m having bridgework done. This involved extractions and build up of new bone to support posts to secure implants. Some is a rework of work I had done in Washington, D.C. and NC. I am so impressed with the skill and professionalism of every person in this practice group. They explain options, use the latest technology, make a special effort to make sure the patient understands, and do absolutely great work.
