Porcelain Veneers
Veneers are extremely thin pieces of porcelain which allow patients to cover their natural teeth with a new, whiter and less worn surface. Veneers are custom designed in a professional dental lab to exactly create the smile you always wished for, right down to shape and color. We simply prepare your teeth by removing some of your enamel, and bond the porcelain to the front of those prepared teeth to reveal a brand-new, beautiful smile.
Our dental veneers are so versatile. They can repair broken and chipped teeth, lengthen worn teeth, cover stains whitening can’t undo, and even close minor gaps to completely reshape your smile. In some cases, veneers can be a great alternative to crowns in treating conditions such as:
- Crooked or misshapen teeth
- Extremely stained or discolored teeth
- Unsightly or uneven gaps and spaces
- Simply to create a well-proportioned, white, and beautiful smile
As with most dental restorations, veneers are not permanent and may someday need replacement. They are very durable and, with proper care, will you enjoy a beautiful long-lasting smile for many years.
CEREC Same-Day Crowns
Crowns are very effective at treating teeth that have been badly damaged due to decay, traumatic injury, or severe erosion of the enamel. A crown can replace the entire external portion of a tooth down to the gum level, so this makes it a great choice for completely restoring a tooth’s natural function and look for an improved esthetic appearance. Getting a ceramic crown usually requires at least two visits. One is for preparation and impressions. Then you have to wait while the lab creates your crown. Once the restoration is created, you have to come back for placement and you may even have to return again for an adjustment. A CEREC same-day crown allows us to quickly and economically restore damaged teeth using a durable ceramic material that matches the natural color of other teeth in your mouth, and usually, in just one visit.
Full Mouth Restoration
Sometimes life can be hard on our smiles. Teeth can crack from clenching and grinding, be lost to infection or accidents, shift because of bite problems, and generally cause all kinds of difficulty with eating and speaking. Every mouth we see has different dental health care needs. We can work with you to develop a comprehensive, personalized plan for full mouth restoration. Oftentimes, the course of treatment requires a variety of procedures from tooth bonding, CEREC one-visit restorations, and gum recontouring, to implants and orthodontic treatment. The end result is a refreshed smile and reestablished confidence.
Composite Bonding
Count on the dental artists at the Dental Health Group for the most beautiful and natural-looking tooth bonding. Dental bonding is a great way to cover stains, repair chips and cracks, and even fill gaps or straighten small irregularities. Unlike veneers which use laboratory-created porcelain sheaths, we use tooth-colored composite resin to:
- Reshape teeth
- Repair minor cracks and chips
- Make teeth appear longer
- Fill gaps
- Whiten discolored teeth
The bonding resin is a durable, plastic-like material that is applied to teeth then shaped and polished to match surrounding teeth. The procedure is completed in our office, so you can enjoy care from the team you trust for immediate results that last.
Smile Whitening
We offer a variety of whitening options so you can choose the perfect method to get the results you have been looking for. If you choose in-office whitening, your teeth will be treated to KöR deep tooth bleaching. No other dental product has ever been ranked higher than KöR whitening – it works even on teeth stained as a result of prescription medications, such as tetracycline. You can also continue to enjoy coffee, tea, or red wine.
If you prefer to whiten on your own, we offer KöR and Contrast PM tray whitening options. Whiten while you watch TV, read, or even on your commute. Your brightest, whitest smile will be shining in about two weeks.
